I gratefully acknowledge I am a guest on the traditional and ancestral lands of the K’omoks people where I live with my husband. Retired, my career centred around education; serving international students, counselling and teaching children and adults in Alberta and BC.

I have had the privilege of working extensively for and with Indigenous peoples, and with students and business colleagues in South America, Europe, Africa and throughout the Asias. I have provided strategic planning, organizational development, intercultural engagement and research consulting services for non-profit organizations in the health, social services, and education sectors. I have served on national, provincial and community boards of directors, more recently with SIETAR BC and BCCIC.

Currently I volunteer with Nashipay Maasai Initiatives, a registered NGO in Tanzania.  I love to hike and snowshoe, swim, kayak, read and I am a serial crafter!
