Tanya is a Research Analyst with the Capilano University Foundation and works in the areas of social, environmental and economic policy as an independent International Development Consultant. Her current projects have focused on gender mainstreaming and social impact across the areas of energy, agriculture, and climate change in the Caribbean region. Tanya has previously worked as a Research Analyst with the London School of Economics Public Policy Group, the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth, and IFC/World Bank. She earned her BAH in Economics and Geography from Queen’s University and MSc at the London School of Economics in Philosophy and Public Policy. Since joining the BCCIC, she has contributed as a member of the International Development Week organizing committee, co-author of the SDG/2030 Agenda policy series and recently as a chapter author for the BCCIC shadow report: Reading Between the Lines.
