November 23 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Project Ploughshares event poster

Nearly 13,000 nuclear weapons exist today. Each presents an existential, yet preventable, risk.

Join Project Ploughshares for the final discussion of our virtual workshop series Canada and the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons on Wednesday, November 23rd at 10:30AM-12:00PM EST / 1:30pm – 3pm PST.

This event will explore the looming nuclear threat in the context of the war in Ukraine and the practical steps that the Canadian government can take to facilitate nuclear abolition.

Participants will have an opportunity to hear from and engage in dialogue with critical voices campaigning to help achieve a world free of nuclear arms.

Registration is free and open to the public. Find the registration page HERE.

This project has been made possible with the generous support of the Shantz Mennonite Church Bequest Earnings Disbursement Fund. You are receiving this email as a registrant of past events in this series.
