Becoming an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Champion with Assistant Deputy Minister, Paul Thoppil

Join the NPSIA Student Association for a candid virtual discussion with Global Affairs Canada’s Assistant Deputy Minister of the Asia-Pacific Branch and EDI champion, Paul Thoppil. Paul Thoppil will be hosted by Dr. Valerie Percival, Edward Liang and Ariel Mishkin to discuss the importance of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within the federal government and its implications for foreign policy. This discussion will shed light on critiques of EDI as well as signal for young professionals the applicability of EDI throughout their own career paths. A Q&A will be provided for students to ask Mr. Paul Thoppil questions.
