The fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban in August 2021 shocked the world and today, it is Afghan women paying the price. But the consequences for the women and girls of Afghanistan will have reverberating effects that will have significant security and foreign policy implications for the world at large.

Join Third Age Barrie for a presentation with CW4WAfghan Executive Director, Dr. Lauryn Oates. Dr. Oates will explore the foreign policy implications, provide an update on the current situation for Afghan women and girls, and discuss how it all came to this.
