Like many of the challenges facing global food systems, climate change needs to be addressed through a systems-based approach requiring practical, political, and transformational approaches to change underlying beliefs and mental models. Join Agriculture and Livelihoods Technical Advisor, Michael Salomons and Senior Policy Advisor, Naomi Johnson from Canadian Foodgrains Bank, as they discuss the interlinkages of climate change, food security, and development, and what the Foodgrains Bank is doing to adopt a systems-based approach to addressing climate change. This presentation will include various occasions for participant feedback and group discussion on the opportunities and challenges of addressing climate change and food security facing our sector today.
