Film Screening Bones of Crows

Unfolding over 100 years, BONES OF CROWS is a feature film told through the eyes of Cree Matriarch Aline Spears as she survives a childhood in Canada’s residential school system to continue her family’s generational fight in the face of systemic starvation, racism, and sexual abuse. The film runtime is 02:07:00.  Written and directed by Marie Clements.

You’re invited to the UBC Residential School History and Dialogue Centre on September 15 for two screenings of BONES OF CROWS.

SCREENING 1: 1:00 PM-3:15 PM, with discussion until 3:45 PM.

SCREENING 2: 6:00 PM-8:15 PM, with discussion until 8:45 PM.
