From Challenge to Change: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Rural Ghana | Webinar

Please join the Grandmothers Advocacy Network (GRAN) on Thursday, September 24 at 10:00 a.m. PT for a webinar entitled From Challenge to Change: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in Rural Ghana.

Guest speaker will be Peta Hall, a dedicated Canadian volunteer who spearheaded the establishment of the Atorkor Vocational Training School in Ghana, where students are taught skills in textiles, computer science, and business management. Peta has also founded a cooperative to support women’s economic independence through Textile Art Ghana, and established a program in local schools to give girls information and supplies for menstrual hygiene. We look forward to hearing her stories.
