SDG Caucus Speaker Series: March 21st
March 21 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Join the Canadian Environmental Network’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Caucus for monthly sessions with guest speakers who will share their expertise on various topics related to sustainable development. These sessions will share the important work on SDGs happening across the country and beyond, and you will get an intimate look at how our SDG caucus functions and the work we do. The event is free and open to all!
This month, we have Zoë Craig-Sparrow from Justice for Girls. Zoë is a Director at Justice for Girls (JFG), a non-profit organization that promotes social, economic, and environmental justice with a mission to end poverty, violence, and racism. Zoë is passionate about girls’ and women’s rights, and fights for equality for young women facing discrimination or poverty. As a member of the Musqueam Indian Band, Zoë leads JFG’s work on Indigenous Rights and Environmental Justice to advocate for land defenders facing violence or eviction from fossil fuel development. She is also an Environmental and Indigenous Rights Fellow at the David Suzuki Foundation.
