Are you interested in Canadian aid effectiveness and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

This two-day Symposium and DevLab will bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, funders, social innovators and technology experts to explore how social innovation and new technologies can enhance the delivery of Canadian aid, transform global development and fuel innovation in support of partnerships for sustainable development (SDG 17).

This event is being hosted by SFU International, the BC Council for International Cooperation, the University of the Fraser Valley, and other partners.

The Symposium and DevLab features the following themes:

  • Collaborations & Partnerships across sectors
  • Engaging the Private Sector
  • Big Data & Information Technology
  • Project Delivery

Format:
This two-day event comprises panel presentations on the four themes, the formation and collaboration of teams for cultivating innovative ideas, the development of proposals, and presenting of ideas to a panel of expert judges, who will then award the winning team(s) for their innovative idea(s).
