The Future of Our Food & Climate

This event is part of UBC Global Lounge’s week-long programming for International Development Week 2020: Reimagining Systems:

Climate change will affect every aspect of our everyday life – down to the very food we grow and consume. With the increasing number and intensity of floods, droughts and the daunting rising of global sea-levels, how will climate change affect how and where we grow our food?

How will governments of the world adapt to the changing landscape and be able to feed all its people?

Join us for this interactive workshop examining the structure of food systems, featuring our student co-hosts UBC Africa Awareness Initiative & AMS Colombian Student Association.
