Job Opportunity: Brand Ambassador (x2), HOPE International

For the summer of 2021, the “Brand Ambassadors” will be responsible for telling the local community about HOPE International through a street team format at events, through direct interactions with the public and in conversations. The objective of this position is to increase public awareness of HOPE International programs and to solicit monthly funding support from individuals.


Working together with another Brand Ambassador, this 16-week, full time, summer placement role will include the following responsibilities: – Organizing attendance and participation at community events as per covid-19 guidelines – Preparing and conducting presentations/information sessions for outreach at clubs, youth groups, community spaces, etc., about global citizenship, social responsibility, and issues about extreme poverty in the global south. – Direct contact with stakeholders requesting monthly financial support through doorstep marketing and telephone contact with existing annual donors – Document weekly progress and identify the strengths and challenges faced as you work in your role.


You are an outgoing, extroverted individual who enjoys meeting new people. You are confident, articulate, communicate well and can comfortably engage in a variety of public interactions. Willing to learn some new skills, you have compassion for people who face challenges in their lives and want to take action to help people. You also are detail orientated enough to follow-up with people and are able to communicate well in both written and verbal formats. You are probably a grade 12 student or now pursuing post secondary education. During your time at HOPE, you will learn about client service, teamwork and professional communication. You will also be working alongside a team with a lot of hustle and heart for people facing extreme poverty overseas. You can start immediately and work throughout the summer.
