FACT-B High Level Climate Change Conference

We are partnering with the French Consulate in Vancouver to bring together high level French and Canadian speakers for an interactive panel discussion on the topic of biodiversity, forests, and climate change. Ends with a reception with French wine and the opportunity to talk with the panelists.

National Youth Debate: Leadership for a Sustainable Future

June 4, 6:30pm-8:30pm – Robson Square (800 Robson St)

Youth representatives of Canada’s major political parties will engage in dialogue on the biggest vision and biggest questions facing Canada. The youth debate provides a unique and innovative opportunity in electoral engagement by giving young political leaders center stage to offer their own perspectives on their party’s vision in contributing to a better Canada and a better world.

The Longhouse Dialogues

May 31-June 5, Daily Sessions and Special Events – Harbour Green Park (1199 W Cordova St)

A gathering place for grassroots community dialogue on important topics relating to local and Indigenous issues with a gender lens – four longhouse fronts designed and painted by Nuu-chah-nulth artist Hjalmer Wenstob hold space for speaking events, workshops, and other sessions.
