Tamara Baldwin

Tamara Baldwin, is the Director of the office of Regional and International Community Engagement (ORICE) at the University of British Columbia. She has worked in higher education for nearly two decades with a background in community/international development, strategic planning, student engagement, curriculum design, assessment and facilitation. Tamara is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy at UBC, and holds a M.Sc. from the University of Birmingham in Poverty Reduction and Development Management. Tamara’s work abroad coordinates cross-sectoral research and internship projects with numerous NGO’s, social enterprises, and various levels of government for experiential education courses and programs at UBC. Furthermore, Tamara has served on the Board of Directors for the British Columbia Council for International Cooperation (BCCIC) and welcomes the opportunity to contribute, learn and collaborate with others in the network.
