Open Call for Youth Delegates to the United Nations Climate Change Conference SB-52

Update on the BCCIC Delegation to the United Nations Climate Change Conference SB-52:

Canada and other countries around the world, including Germany and Portugal, are working to contain the current outbreak of the novel-coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
BCCIC Climate Change is concerned over the evolving situation in Europe, especially in the Federal Republic of Germany. Safeguarding the health and safety of our volunteers, contractors, delegates, and employees remains our top priority. As the global situation continues to worsen, we believe cancelling the upcoming Youth Delegation to UNFCCC SB-52 conference is the right course of action.
The delegates selected for SB-52 will be attending our Youth Delegation to COP 26 in Glasgow, pending updates from the UK COP 26 Presidency. For more information, please contact Public Affairs Coordinator Reina Pino Fernandes at
