Organizational Bylaws

BCCIC’s organizational bylaws, last updated in 2019, provide the guide by which our organization and network function. We encourage all members and prospective members to familiarize themselves with them at their leisure.

Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy

BCCIC aims to cultivate a positive work environment free of sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment and discrimination where everyone, including our Board, staff members, contractors, consultants, volunteers, partners and members, feels safe, supported and respected and are aware of their rights and responsibilities in relation to the prevention and reporting of sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse.

Many organizations, especially those working within humanitarian and international development contexts, outline how they work to prevent and respond to instances of sexual exploitation and abuse in their Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.

BCCIC has created resources to supplement our PSEA policy in order to support organizations looking to create or strengthen their own efforts to protect their teams and partners from sexual exploitation and abuse.
